Frequency sound test
This freeware program uses win32 wave functions - waveInOpen etc.
Test how accurate the frequency timing is on a sound device on a windows PC. (win95 or better) This test uses 11025HZ @16bit mono.
If you feel your sound quality is not what it should be, it may be your sound card is running fast/slow. This application will tell you.
The input and output devices tested are the 'preferred' ones.
To
Change your preferred device- Open 'MY COMPUTER', then
'CONTROL PANEL', then 'SOUNDS AND MULTIMEDIA'. Select the audio tab. Now
you can select the devices for sound recording & playback.
